A few days ago we saw 1.8 to 1.14 of Legend of the Seeker. 1.8 Denna and 1.10 Sacrifice was directed by Michael Hurst. Michael Hurst is also an actor and appears in 1.13 Revenant.

Michael Hurst a long time ago had played Iolaus in Hercules - The Legendary Journeys and his involvement in Legend of the Seeker undoubtedly has something to do with the fact that Executive Producer Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert also oversaw Hercules. This plus the fact that both shows have been filmed in New Zealand.
