In response to a query by a fan, Matthew Galvin from ABC Audience and Consumer Affairs said that Doctor Who season 35 will be on the ABC from April.
However a firm date is yet to be finalised.
This response means that season 35 will be shown on the ABC not long after its broadcast in the UK.

Season 35 makes its ABC debut on iView rather than on ABC1 with the first episode The Eleventh Hour to become available on iView from Saturday April 17 12:01 am ahead of its ABC1 debut on Sunday April 18 7:30pm.
