Week 10 – The Flash

The FlashAs the end of semester races towards us, join Spocksoc as we continue the adventures of the fastest man alive: The Flash

Barry Allen is struck by lightning the same night as Central City’s particle accelerator malfunctions. When he wakes up after nine months in a coma, he discovers he has the ability to move at superhuman speed. Working with the disgraced scientists at Star Labs, Barry apprehends other ‘metahumans’, and protects the residents of Central City. As always, we will be starting in Macaulay Theatre at 5pm and having dinner at 7pm

Also coming up is our Midnight Screening of X-men: Apocalypse on Wednesday 18rd. Worshiped as a god since the dawn of civilization, the immortal Apocalypse becomes the first and most powerful mutant. Awakening after thousands of years, he recruits the disheartened Magneto and other mutants to create a new world order. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Professor X and Raven lead a team of young X-Men to stop their seemingly invincible nemesis from destroying mankind. If you need to catch up on all or your young X-men movies, with a special X-men marathon, including X-men: First Class followed by X-men: Days of Future Past at the Ritz. If you can’t make it to our midnight screening, we have another screening on Tuesday 24th. Check the Facebook events below to get updates on screening times as they come
